Life has been easy going and very scheduled around here lately. My day usually goes like this
-wake up
-go downstairs and make breakfast and lunches
-send kids off to school
-work
-get Char up and feed her for 30 min (she is a little heffer!)
-work
-start some laundry
-work
-tidy up the house, vacuum, clean kitchen
-play a little with the girls
-Char nap
-work out
-lunch
-play a little with kids
-clean kitchen
-finish more laundry
-watch a show on tv
-get boys a snack when they come home
-make dinner (sometimes:)
-get kids ready for bed and threaten them if they don't stay in bed
-work out (if missed during the day)
-finally sit down and relax a little in front of the tellie!
Yes...this is just about my day everyday and I like being scheduled. It takes the stress away a bit. On Tuesday we'll be adding a couple of things to the list. Brayden starts baseball and he's so pumped about it! He's been playing catch outside every evening (when Sean is home) with Dad and he's got a killer throw! I'm really glad we decided on ball this year instead of soccer because he just was NOT into that. Drew starts Soccer on June 3 and Sean will be coaching him again. He wasn't going to but they called needing a coach and now that he's in charge of making up the call schedule at work, he can pretty much make sure he'll be at all the games! They're team is team Brazil since this year they are all playing world cup teams. I'm starting to wonder though if we should get Drew into something like Golf or swimming, or gymnastics, because he's proving to be quite the individual player. Just playing catch yesterday with B made him furious if he couldn't get the throw just right, and if he couldn't catch the ball it was Brayden's fault for throwing a bad throw! Wow...the temper on that one...needless to say we're working on him. Very short circuited!
It looks like a beautiful day outside which is fabulous because Sean has the day off and we've been planning on setting up our pool for a couple of weeks now so today is the day! I'm off to make some breakfast for all these starving chickens:)
